Schiano Named Team Captain for The Arc
The Honorary Leadership Team for The Arc of Middlesex County's Annual Walk is being led by Greg Schiano, award winning head coach of Rutgers University's football team. "I hope you too will lend your support to a worthy and important charity, The Arc of Middlesex County," Schiano said. "Please step up for The Arc by being a sponsor or by forming a team for The Arc's annual Walk."
The walk will be held at 10:15 a.m. April 28 at Roosevelt Park in Edison. Registration, games and activities begin at 9 a.m. New Jersey 101.5 FM will provide entertainment.

Community leaders who have joined coach Schiano on the Arc's Leadership Team are: State Sen. Barbara Buono; Mayor James Cahill of New Brunswick; Freeholder Director David Crabiel; Elizabeth Hance, president and CEO of Magyar Bank; Peter Haytaian, president and CEO of Amerigroup Community Care of New Jersey; Middlesex County Surrogate Kevin Hoagland; Congressman Rush Holt, Woodbridge Mayor John McCormac; Congressman Frank Pallone; Joann La Perla-Morales, president of Middlesex County Community College; Chris Phelan, president of the Middlesex County Regional Chamber of Commerce; Merrill Lynch Vice President Brad Seamon; T.K. Shamy of Shamy and Shamy; Freeholder Blanquita Valenti and Assemblyman Joseph Vas.
The Arc of Middlesex County provides services for children and adults with lifelong intellectual and physical disabilities.
